Golden Russet

Discovered in upstate New York as a chance seedling in the 19th century, the Golden Russet became prized as the “champagne” of old-time cider apples.It produces an intensely flavored apple and finished cider. Notes of tropical fruit blend with a bit of hazelnut in the background to produce a citrusy tart finish.
